Georgia Tech’s October 24 homecoming football game against Boston College will kick off at 3:30 p.m. Eastern and air nationally on ACC Network. The Yellow Jackets announced the television assignment and start time on October 12. The game will take place at Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field in Atlanta.
The matchup will mark Georgia Tech’s 77th homecoming game. The school lists a 57–18–1 record in those games and a 4–0 homecoming mark under head coach Brent Key. Georgia Tech defeated Syracuse 41–16 in last season’s homecoming contest.
Boston College will make its 14th appearance in the series with Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets lead the all-time matchup 8–5 after winning 36–34 last season. The Eagles hold a 4–3 edge in games played in Atlanta, including victories during their 2021 and 2023 visits.
The announcement gives fans a confirmed afternoon start for their homecoming plans. Georgia Tech’s athletics website provides ticket information and links to the school’s homecoming details. Fans should check those official resources for event arrangements and availability as the weekend approaches.
Georgia Tech still has an important road assignment before returning for homecoming. The Yellow Jackets visit Virginia Tech on October 17 at 3:30 p.m. Eastern, also on ACC Network. They enter that game with a 2–3 overall record and a 1–1 conference mark following the 28–25 victory over Duke.
Boston College also has a game to play before its trip to Atlanta. The Eagles host Pittsburgh on October 17 after an open week, according to their official schedule. Boston College stands 2–3, so both teams’ records entering the October 24 matchup will depend on the results of the preceding weekend.
