The Gwinnett Stripers plan to unveil updated home and alternate jerseys in early 2027. The club’s September 15 announcement also included alternate caps and batting-practice caps. It will be the franchise’s first major uniform refresh since adopting the Stripers identity in 2018.
New uniforms and local sponsorship plans
The changes will coincide with sponsor logos appearing on Gwinnett jerseys for the first time. The team is seeking a local partner for home and road jersey placement beginning in 2027 and continuing through 2030. The club described the opportunity as part of a Minor League Baseball program allowing teams to sell local jersey-patch partnerships.
Gwinnett’s 2027 season is scheduled to begin March 26 at Memphis. The home opener at Gwinnett Field is listed for March 30 against Norfolk. The uniform announcement did not reveal the final designs, leaving that part of the offseason story for the planned unveiling.
GSB Take
A uniform refresh can generate interest during the offseason, but the final design still has to connect with fans who know the current identity. Gwinnett is also using that moment to offer a visible local business partnership. The important next step is the actual unveiling; the accompanying featured graphic is an editorial illustration, not a preview of the official 2027 uniform.
